Key Ingredient- Pine Wood, Tobacco, Rose, Tuberose flowers

Product- Pharmaceutical Parfume

Summary-

Aim- The main aim of my research work is to formulate and evaluate herbal perfume using natural ingredients. Ingredients that are used in this research are Rose & Tuberose flowers, S.P. leaves, P.W., and other ingredients. Natural ingredients I chose in this formulation on the basis of people’s opinions after they smelled all the essential oils.

The benefit for society-It is a pure herbal formulation so, not have side effects.

Using natural essential oils rather than synthetic ones to create a fragrance brings emotional and physical healing properties such as calming, energy-enhancing, relaxing, or mood enhancers.

The most vital benefit of using natural perfumes is they are non-toxic in nature.

Natural perfumes are Eco-friendly in nature.

Material and Method- The ingredients used in this formulation are natural like Rose & Tuberose flowers, S.P. leaves, P.W., and other ingredients. All the ingredients are safe and non-toxic.

There are many methods for extraction of essential oils like Hydro distillation, Steam distillation, Maceration, Enfleurage, etc. But I used the ethanol extraction method in this formulation and extracted the essential oil of all ingredients. Then I diluted the essential oils with alcoholic solvent as per the required concentration to prepare perfume.

Result- In my research, I formulated an herbal perfume that was prepared with herbal ingredients like Rose & Tuberose flowers, S.P. leaves, P.W., and N.

I formulated a total of three formulations (P1, P2, P3) varying the use of different-different essential oils P1- contains Rose, S.P, and P.W oils, P2- contains Tuberose, S.P, and P.W oils and P3 contains P.W, N. and S.P oils. These formulations were evaluated and compared to standard parameters it including color, odor, pH test, Irritancy, absorption, and spreadability tests.

Conclusion- The yield of oil from the ethanol extraction method was greater than the yield obtained from the hydro distillation method. Various essential oils obtained by plants and flowers of the aroma family were done and their suitability as the top note, middle note, and base note was also discussed which concluded that there's no hard and fast rule about associating any essential oil with any note and it changes according to different combinations

Product- Herbal Shampoo

Summary-

Aim-The main purpose behind this investigation was to develop a stable and functionally effective shampoo. The present study was carried out with the aim of preparing an herbal shampoo that provides a smooth and straight effect to hair, safer than chemical conditioning agents. Herbal shampoos are cosmetic preparations that consist of traditional and ayurvedic herbs which are meant for cleansing the hair and scalp just like there are shampoos.

Material and Method- Herbal shampoo was formulated with the aqueous extract of medicinal plants that are commonly used for cleansing and smoothening hair traditionally. Many herbal crude drugs are used in shampoo formulations like moringa-oliefera, aloe vera, shikakai, amla, reetha, rice water, Multanimitti, etc. Take the core ingredient (M.O. leaves extract) in a beaker. Mix all ingredients such as Reetha fruits powder extract, Shikakai fruits powder extract, Amla fruits powder extract, Aloe-vera leaves pulp extract, Rice seeds water, Multani Mitti powder, S.L.S , Methyl cellulose step by step into a beaker containing core ingredient along with continuous stirring with the glass rod for uniform mixing of ingredients. A prepared formulation can be obtained.

Evaluation of organoleptic, physicochemical, and performance tests in terms of wetting time test, pH, phase separation, acceptability test, dirt dispersion, foam Stability, and Viscosity was performed.

Result- Three different formulations were prepared to get better-formulated shampoo suitable for hair conditioning. After determining all the formulations it was found that various parameters were used to check their quality and performance. All the herbal shampoo formulations exhibit desirable foaming ability. The pH of the formulation is slightly acidic and was ranging from 5.93 to 6.16.also, the dirt dispersion outcomes point out that no dirt would stay in the foam; so organized formulations are appropriate for use. Further, the foaming ability and foam stability effects confirmed that the foam produced stays long and adequate and that foaming ability is also good.

Conclusion- To evaluate for good product performance of the prepared shampoo, many tests were performed. It is concluded that evaluation studies of the developed shampoo revealed a comparable result for the quality control test, but further scientific validation is needed for its overall quality.

Project Title- Impact of Product Advertisement On Sales Volume of Companies.

About the Project: Based on the research finding that there was a close relationship between advertisement and the sales volume of companies. From the finding of the survey in the rural area, people said they used OTC drugs without a prescription for normal cough cold, and fever so they can decide on the particular OTC drugs on the basis of their advertisement level. They also choose pharmaceutical products and cosmetic care products on the basis of advertising level. But in the other hand, I found that people who are well-educated or well-known don’t choose the product or OTC drugs only on the basis of advertising level they believe in the Quality or brand name of the product. Even if they do not take OTC drugs. The always-used drug is prescribed by the proper medical practitioner.
